Upsides of picking up Dungeons and Dragons as a hobby:
• Nice creative outlet
• Collaborative storytelling
• Opportunity for planning shenanigans
Downside:
• every measurement is in imperial units
Do you take fall damage if you fall 25 feet? Do you break a leg or crumple into a crater? Who knows! I have no mental image of how high that might be!!
You may as well have given the height in Hammer units, not that I could tell the difference!!!

As for weight, from what I have seen a lot of games do not keep track of weight.
Or two storeys.
There are a few systems out there that, thankfully, use metric units.
One foot is 304.8mm. One inch is 25.4mm. One pound is 0.45kg.
