Candy's Species History
Doing this to basically keep the "Um Ackchyually snakes cant" people at bay by making a species sheet that is a subspecies from the Naga and the Scalies.
They are more human-like than their cousins, having warm blood, breasts that produce milk, give birth to live young, and possess human-like skin, nails, and even hair. There are only two known tribes: one inhabits the northern jungles of South America, close to the Pacific Ocean coast. They are larger and have large hoods. The other tribe resides in the more southern area, is smaller, lacks hoods, and is more muscular. Both tribes are known and feared by neighboring human tribes because the human males taken by them at night are never seen again.
These tribes live in communities surrounded by large wooden walls. Each member resides in their own small hut made of clay, wood, and straw. The village head lives in a long house constructed mostly of stone and wood. They harbor deep distrust for outsiders, especially females of other tribes. When visiting their village, you’ll primarily encounter female tribe members, as it turns out most cannot give birth to males and must therefore take males from other villages. Their diet consists primarily of meat, and they rarely consume plants. They eat by ripping smaller chunks with their powerful hands and swallowing the food whole. Additionally, they worship their Venus of motherhood and take the task of raising their young very seriously. The bond between mother and daughter is strong, and they are fiercely protective of their offspring.
The tribal society operates as follows:
Village Head: The largest and oldest of the tribe members, she is usually plump and has the largest breasts. Most of the young belong to her, and she mates with the males the most. She resides in the longhouse, a large structure that serves as their meeting place and house of ritual. It is also where the males are kept and protected.
Hunters: Usually younger, leaner, and smaller than the other females, they hunt using spears, their keen sense of smell, and large fangs to bite into the neck of their prey. They also raid for males when the village faces a shortage.
Caregivers: These individuals remain in the village, overseeing both the younglings and the males. They also serve as builders and cooks. A caregiver may step in as a mother to a youngling who loses their biological mother.
Males: Typically human as its extremely rare for a male of their species to be born, they are rarely seen and are kept hidden in the Village Head’s longhouse. They are allowed to wander but only within the village borders, always under the watchful eye of a caregiver. Females are so large and aggressive during mating that the male can be seriously injured.
issue is Im terrible with names so Im trying to figure out the species name at the moment. Let me know what you all think and if you want to add in anything.

Also, disobedient males can get something akin to "Death by SnuSnu" to which is both punishment and getting a final use out of the male. Typically this is rare as most are treated well. However they are somewhat both in a marriage (or concubine) to the village head or "Supreme Matriarch" and her property.
As for speicies names given their South American location, I think using an Aztec name would work.
Snake women or Cihuātlcoatl would be my idea. They of course use a simpler name for non-native speakers and trade.
In addition, perhaps they would take in lost orphan human boys and raise them as their own, being very doting towards them. In most cases they would be raised as future mates for their daughters.
Either way, I find this very interesting ^U^ don't worry about the "ACKSTHUALLYEEEE" people, they're just obsessed with being correct all the time.
Keep it up! :D
This inspires me to try and come up with a lore journal myself.^_^
