I seriously want all of you to think about what our former orangutan president actually said to his fellow right-wing Christian Conservatives today.
This -isn't- him using exaggeration. He was being completely serious in saying the quiet part out loud: That, deep down, he wants complete, total authoritarian rule, full stop.
There is also no denying that a large part of America would love to revel in this kind of rule (QAnon, 1 Percenters, 14/88, etc.) and let us also not forget about Project 2025, which has to be the most disturbing transition project that we the people could ever be subjected to. -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_2025

Nor is it me being "Chicken Little" and overreacting either; this is genuine concern about keeping our democracy.
Because, quite frankly: America did not fight to be free, to turn into something where we may have no choice, at all.
Or he might have meant that he wouldn't care whether Christians vote for another four years. (not much better)
Or he might have been lying through his teeth. (again)
I think it's more that, once again, he's being manipulated by the Heritage Foundation (and other big time donors of their ilk) to do their bidding.
And I don't think I would be too thrilled about living in the times of "The Handmaids Tale" mixed with "1984" thank you very much :B

The fact that our mainstream media has come to the point here they need to "both sides" everything has got to be a signal for the full decline and destruction of Western civilization. To me, knowledge is literally power - but to completely weaponize ignorance, fear and division?
