I had this reoccurring nightmare as a kid, I was probably around 5 - 12 years old when I had them. But each time the dream would start outside a 2 story house that was my house, yet it wasn't my house, yet it wasn't my house as I had never seen it before. It was night, the sides of the building were obscured by heavy trees and shrubs, all you could see of the front was the faded green siding and a sickly turquoise light, similar to old fluorescent lights, illuminating the surroundings from all the windows. I walk up to the front door with a man who is my father, but he's not my father. His face is blurred when I try to look at it, yet there is detail of a man when I look away. We walk into my house that's not my house, and the first room, a living room, is bare, minus a door at the other end of the hall. That exaggerated turquoise fluorescent light filling the space. We walk towards the door and open it. Below, is a basement. Instead of seeing it from my eyes, I'm looking up at myself from the unfathomably pitch black void at the bottom of the basement, the sickly lighting illuminating the walls down the stairs. At the bottom, eyes still attached to the floor, raise up and turn to face me. Many many eyes, unfathomable amounts of eyes. All raised on their optic nerves, like snakes rising up, stating at me. Then I'm back in my body, the door closes, and we head up stairs. The room at the top of the stairs is still filled with that sickly fluorescent light, but now it's even more turquoise and saturated in color. I turn to the only piece of furniture in the room, a simple couch. Eyes, the couch opens it's eyes. One eye on each arm rest. Then many more open up across the couch, the walls, the ceiling, everywhere. I turn to my father, who's not my father, and there is one big eye in the middle of his face staring at me, one big piercing eye with many little ones opening around it. And then I wake up, and that's the dream. I've had this nightmare several times as a kid.

Man, this is sick….. the house, fake dad, and all that bizarre incomprehensible amount of eyes… love everything about this. Exactly the sort of thing I was looking for.

The quantity of details you provided is quite impressive too, so immersive. You had the nightmare several times as you said so that explains why you remember it so clearly. How was your reaction when waking up from it? That must scared the life out of you. I would freak out!
