Back from JAPAN [Comm info]

Finally back! After a 10 day trip and being home already for nearly a week, I finally am back on my sleeping schedule and ready for work!
Japan was incredible, reminded me a lot of Mexico in some ways but also it was TOTALLY different haha. City life I am just not use to at all. I don't think I could have consumed more of Japan on those 10 days and a 14 hour time difference really hits ya. We went to Osaka, Kyoto, Shirakawa go, Takayama, Kanazawa, and Tokyo. Got to experience a tea ceremony, a proper Zen meditation, visited a ton of temples and ate all sorts of food! Everyone was just so nice and polite it was a very lovely vibe. I've learned so much about the culture, good and bad. Overall the trip has really encouraged me to pick up some new habits and new ideas for food I could make! The Shrines were wonderful and I also got to see the Shibuya crosswalk! Rode the Shinkansen (bullet train), visited Akihabara (electric town) and much more. Remember I was with a tour group so our days were pretty much planned but we had evenings of free time.
In one of those days in Tokyo, Miza and I managed to visit the Monster Hunter event that was displaying the life size statue of Siekret! Seeing it in person was awesome <3
However NEVER will I EVER go in summer again. FUCK that it was so hot I was dizzy half the time ;v;
I dont think I fully grasped that I was in Japan, somewhere Ive dreamed of going since I was like 13 haha even when I was THERE and after I am home none of it really seems real. Crazy how huge the world is and it really is beautiful.
As some of you may remember, 6 months ago I came back from visiting Mexico, and I felt very down about getting back to work due to bad experiences with the fandom a year ago. The thoughts are still there, to be honest there's probably not a day that goes by its not lingering in the back of my head and even moreso when I look at my own profile. Maybe it helps that I have work to do that I didnt finish before leaving, but I feel better about coming back despite it all.
Miza and I will definitely go back on our own someday. It was too special to be a one and done.
COMMISSIONS
No surprise price increase this time haha. I will be working on the song commissions I took before I left then going through my forms AFTER I get those finished. Then back to normal! Thanks so much for your continuous support <3

Personally, I probably would not have gone to Japan myself, for me Japan seems to be a country where there are many big cities and few natural places, it was probably influenced by where I spent my entire current life. I'm more attracted to nature than the cities themselves.
I might not have much in my small town but atleast I have nature, generally nice people/strangers, no stupid emergency sirens all the fucking time, and I can see nature, green grass, trees, flowers, birds singing, frogs chirping. ect ect ect. Just much happier in a smaller town.
And yes, the jet lag was also the worst thing haha. I remember being like a zombie when I got back.
