Seriously considering deleting my FA. I rarely come here anymore, haven't been into anything furry in about a decade, it's really only nostalgic for me now as a section of my life that is long gone. I've only really kept it in case people want to contact me (which hasn't happened in several years). So if this is it, thank you for the fun times and memories.
I hope you don't delete this account, even if you do rarely come here anymore.
While I am still here every day, I too no longer have the chats and correspondences with others like I used to. Yes, I do still get artwork and I will leave comments on some of the work of others; but the daily chats for hours a day, have now long become a thing of the past for me.
However, having said that, I still have many fond memories of those past times, and a part of those memories are due to those old friends still having there FA account. Like an old photo book, it's nice to be able to dust them off from time to time, simply to reminisce on that past.
Yes, it's often heartbreaking to look on the past with nostalgia and consider 'what might have been' if everyone had simply kept in touch; but the reality of life is that we all eventually move on in different directions. But having places such as FA to hold some of those memories is somewhat of a blessing.
The older I get the more I think about such things. We will all eventually vanish from this world, where our legacy is what we leave behind. For many of us, that legacy will only be the memories others have of us, and galleries such as FA are a way to maintain those memories.
There were many fun times and good memories from back in the day, and I will always cherish them. Keeping those memories alive for others is part of what our FA galleries are all about. It would be a shame to lose yours.
