It's genuinely horrifying and the worst part is that it's not a situation unique to him. The system chews people up like that every single day, just normally it's not live-tweeted like this, and it's so. so. so much worse to read it happen to someone in real time than to just read about it as a matter of fact report or a statistic. He deserved better.

I didn't know him at all, but no one deserves to slowly die in pain and debt.
