Rest Easy, Dragoneer

The footer below is true.
13 years. 13 years I've been a part of this platform. Started out as a slightly rebellious teenager trying to circumvent his parents' block on the internet (couldn't browse without supervision), by using a iPod touch, Nintendo Wii, and a Nintendo Wi-Fi adapter (times were rough). I was looking for... anything. Discovered the furry fandom, discovered the weird stories and some drawings I made weren't just me being a weird middle-schooler (this was around 2007-2010). By 2011 I was in high school, and had just discovered I could make an account on what everyone here has come to know as FurAffinity. I owe a lot to this site, it was an awakening for me. Brought out a side of me I never really know. Helped me figure out who I was and what I wanted out of my personal life. Helped me make friends that I've kept to this day, get commissions with, and even game with.
To that, I owe it all to Dragoneer's vision. May not have agreed with some things, but no one usually sees eye-to-eye on everything. Never knew him personally, never even interacted with him. But he's left a legacy and imprint on the furry fandom that I imagine will last forever. And to a 17/18 year old kid at the time just tryin to fit in while his parents were holding him back... I'm forever grateful.
Rest easy, Dragoneer.
