Dragoneer
I've only really been using FurAffinity as an art dump recently, but I have been using it consistently for the past 15+ years. I've found and kept in contact with some amazing people through here.
It's a cornerstone of the Furry community - and it would probably not be so if not for Dragoneer. He chose to spend his personal money to save FA from shutdown by IMVU, and was fiercely protective over it with that notwithstanding.
I played TF2 with him briefly quite a few years ago, and he was on my Steam friends for quite some time.
We shared an affinity for Guilmon...
It's quite sobering to see so many well-known figures in the community start to die.
It's difficult to accept that life is shorter than we expect - we always think we've got more time... not to be morbid but anyone can die for any reason, without warning, and that's terrifying. I'm going to try and steer my life into the direction I want it, with more conviction than before.
At least you're not in pain any more.
Goodbye 'Neer.
