I have never personally met or spoken to him but given all the things people have said about him given this news, he was a really great, friendly person. I've only been on the site for couple short years but cannot thank him enough for the many artists i've been able to follow and pursue more of my art in and all the people briefly spoken as well.
Still finding my way in the fandom but I still appreciate the opportunity and possibility of meeting new people.

It's an understatement to say how much he has impacted many people's lives in a positive way and I wish his family and friends all the best and Dragoneer rests well.
