Finding out about news of Dragoneer's passing last night shocked me as I recently followed the posts of him trying to find a doctor's appointment before seeing he passed a few minutes later. A sordid reminder of the times we live in the United States. I hope he rest well and offer my condolences for his family and friends.

And while neither he nor the platform is perfect, I appreciate the groundwork for the community he helped foster here as a lurker before becoming a member. It is because of his efforts are why I was able to connect with friends from all over the world. This platform was the first places where I am able to release the weird and wacky ideas that I often feel too shy to share publicly. And in doing so, helped me grow as a person to accept these traits of myself.

Dragoneer meant a lot of those who interacted with him and knew him personally. And he meant a lot to many here where my dashboard is filled of what FA and Dragoneer meant to them.

I end this post with a simple and sincere thank you for Dragoneer for all he has done, to help create a place like this the best he could.
