So, little update from me - I am on SAD with the Florida National Guard, was upstate when I got the news, was literally laying down for the night when I got it.

Like, damn... It was through Furaffinity that I met some of my best friends here, met a lot of interesting people too. Without furaffinity, I don't think I'd have ever met any of them.

I didn't know him, personally, I've only ever really spoken to him a few times the last 18 years, but I remember my first interaction with him on mIRC (man I feel old as fuck lol), and I thought he was a silly, cool guy. Wound up showing me the SpongeBong Hemp Pants shorts, and I recall getting a good laugh out of them. I can't say I recall the other interactions that well, but I don't recall anything negative about them.

I do, however, have opinions about him and how FA was being run, even when FA still had corporate sponsorship from IMVU, as actions can speak louder than words, but, knowing he prioritized this site over his health, and compounded knowing that the system was not making it easy for him in the least, I will be withholding these opinions out of respect for Dragoneer. He really cared about his place, enough to wrench it from IMVU much to his expense. I can relate to all of you in wondering what all this means for Furaffinity's future.
