A little bit about the disease.
Heya!
I will say in advance that I am not sure how many medical terms will be in English, but I will Google it.
Some time ago, I started having problems with my right hand. Sharp shooting pain at the base of the thumb during certain movements. I bought myself an orthosis and fixed it when I'm not working, and I also made an appointment with a doctor. Sometimes it got worse, sometimes it got better, but I decided to check with the doctor.
Today I was at an appointment with an orthopedist, everything turned out to be quite deplorable. I was diagnosed with styloiditis (inflammation of the tendon on the wrist joint). The reason for this is active drawing and using a computer. Although the doctors recommended complete rest for my wrist, I can't stop because my earnings depend on how much I do. I draw a little slower, I take breaks more often.
He prescribed me a lot of medications, 3 types of injections, they are very sick. I spent all my savings at the pharmacy... And if there is no improvement in 20 days, he will give me an injection in my wrist so that it does not hurt.
He examined my back and neck and said that I had all the problems because I was sitting incorrectly and working in a bad body position. He ordered me neck bondage and told me to work only in it.
I also asked him why it hurts me to walk, he said that I have flat feet of 2-3 degrees and this means that my legs hurt. Now I have to save money for orthopedic insoles, he said it's better to buy orthopedic shoes.
All the I have to get more orders to ruin my arm, to heal my arm. Trash.

But take frequent breaks and keep a loose grip on your pen, that's the best advice to start with.
That's awful. Sorry you're going through this. I hope things go as well as they can.
Outside of the body devices can help with proper positions but you will want to learn what those positions are and to make an effort yourself to stay in those positions instead of completely relying on devices.
