I hope you're all doing well. If you couldn't guess by the title I'd like to announce...
My Patreon is now live!
To be completely honest I've written this journal over a half dozen times. I bounce between something fun, something serious, something light hearted, something desperate. I still have concerns this'll come off as too formal but I'm putting down what I really feel, in my own words, as best I can.
I've been facing a lot of challenges lately, both creatively and financially. Like any other person I've had my ups and downs, and there have been moments in which it was a struggle to keep going. My hope is that Patreon will allow me to relieve some of this stress.
I see launching the Patreon as a chance for you to directly support me and my work while allowing me to create more content for you to enjoy. Not only this, but also as a way for me to connect with you all on a more personal level and offer something special in return for your support.
Things are going to change around here a bit but I'll try my best not to alienate my readers. Content will still be posted here, especially if the Patreon works out, but some of it will go to Patreon first as a kind of early access. Also I've always wanted, since my first journal, to get feedback on what people really want to see. I will be hosting polls for Patreon members and posting more of what they'd like to be seeing.
I want to make it clear I will still be posting stories I've made for myself and the account here, no strings attached. Even then most content posted to Patreon will still end up here too.
As a closing thought, I just wanted to say that as always, thank you for any continued support. Because even just seeing another favorite makes my day.
