Oh hey Nuku from Flexible survival the games series! I remember having like a intro to the fandom that way with you, Kenket, early games and arts and Soty and Arania. Then having like a Ouroboros like feeling with the shadow beasts / displacer beasts underground that one lab!

I can't remember but i swear like a Ouroboros moments / Snake devouring it's own tail lol.

o Older placeholder art of Displacer beast / venom egg stand in existed
o Inspired me to create a char for a stand in rp
o Created displacer char from inspiration

o Started to do rp scenes involving mating bites and pins.

o Rewritten tendril beast scene similar to early era rps that remind me of my early flist self lol, mating bites, pinning, breeding, etc(?)

o Realized character started off a bit too similar then diverged, spent $$ on a second ref sheet to avoid looking too much like the og on spot reference and added new marks/patterns and looks, etc!

o Tendril beast of flexible survival then redesigned and the patterns looked a little alike again haha. XD.

Not complaining lol, loved the species and i gotta admit it was a ouroboros circle cause the flexible survival art predated me and kinda self devouring lol, so that's when i got my redesigned ref years later to distinct the character away a bit. That was kinda fun though and hopefully a fun origin now. Your game was a inspiration and i gotta admit it was a intro to the fandom for me. Though i do remember getting stuck in furvilla against someone making a Lucerne npc but it was like a overpowered crocidile with all the best gear and 1000% immunity to my grinding shadow build, That was like a 100 user pet site game lmao but it was kinda a funny moment. Everyone just lurking in the world and then a generic npc to the rest of the world making you wonder who's the doppleganger and going "am i the doppleganger?" lol.

Wasn't the original shadow beast art like a venom egg i think(?). I don't even know if it was made for furaffinity. But i think i might have ran into one of the guys who made the pewter consort once here.

Though more into retirement mode now, but that was like 10+ years ago and i think a lot of people used to have fun in that. I think i was quiet about things but i used to download flexible survival yearly and play with it. Definitely was influential in uh.. Ending up a horny kitty cursed with heat prone to being pounced on after a couple romps with that kitty!

No i definitely did not pick the submissive for XP trait and xp grind getting mounted by shadow beasts over and over until my character sprouted displacer beast pussies, for +10 levels no no no! 😳😳🌶️🥵

I think i also tried to get mounted by the fire lynxes a lot at the mall, those reminded me of the WoW fire kitties a lot haha. But it always seemed easier to get lost in Trevor labs and then for the rp scene. We wanted something with tentacles for me to play, but i wanted a body because playing a tentacle monster was boring. Displacer beasts were tentacle monster + panther like body, and that's where the impromptu first draft of displacer beast Lacerne started. Think before that, this char was a winged lynx or white tiger or something.

Oh yeah i'm probably over chatting but i think before i ended up with a displacer beast Lacerne inspired by flexible survival i was alternating between a vampkitty named Sabre as my main sona ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/22924544/ )


And i guess i ended up with some name confusion over Having "Two Lacernes", one displacer beast (1 year later), and one identically named "lyncus" (winged lynx furvilla base paint) then lol ( https://www.furaffinity.net/view/22428921/ )

Probably over chatting but i can't remember if the head canon was if Displacer beast Lacerne was a corrupted form of a white tiger or lyncus form, but i definitely ended up a displacer beast after a few fateful encounters.

I still swear i get wondering deja vu on the shadow beast (in a positive way) since it still reminds me a lot of a certain passed year. Mounting, dominating, breeding, mating rights, very straight.

I think my character ended up starting to get bored of the mounting on f lists and wanting more M/M mounters though like a couple years into F list since a lot of the pink profiles F then were like high drama pancakes that year. Super high drama, just sat there, took it, and like a lot of M / blues just "generally put in more effort" (ex: "You feel them softly caressing and their hands brushing against your body, making you feel wonderful... Every touch vivid and exotic" kinda emotes vs "I sat there, 'put it in, bitch' " kinda emotes that year. )

Maybe that's swerving, but it's kinda enjoyable to go back and get kinda both cringe at a flexible survival npc that kinda gives me ouroboros vibes of a younger more dominant self, while also cringing and ouroborosing haha. That's just my flexible survival story though. Flew on by the end, but it's kinda cool seeing you chat, even if it's been kinda years and we never really interacted and im faded a bit with the fandom as well too.

Hey there! FS is still going strong, in both multiplayer and singleplayer versions. Do you still have the info on them?

Oh i still stop by to update them a bit like every 4 months for like the last year, though life catching up, i always play through like the first like same first 15 levels. Usually a lot of the starting libary, making zones, but i keep getting too lazy to export or level up to max haha.

The game is pretty good at "making you quit", i have to admit i've only got like past 20+ once, and that was like exploiting some of the traits when the "submissive" trait gave you like 5x more exp with hunt than fighting could lmao. XD

*waves cane* Back in my day, it was only three streets! Still can't believe I helped write out one of those ancient scenes back on MSN Messenger/AIM.

Those were the days, though I preferred MUCKs.
