Hi guys! I am going to be taking a short break (1-2 months) from commissions.

The reasons for this are;
I am not in the headspace to continue to work on projects that aren’t mine.
- I do not wish to create art that is subpar or only “just okay” for my clients. I have a lot of mental struggles that are still on going and I feel like I’m only producing subpar work. When you commission me, I want to feel like I did you a just service, and lately I haven’t been feeling that way.

I will still draw and create finished pieces but I desire a little me time.

This follows into the second reason; I need time to explore my other interests.
- Commissions are fun and I love interacting with you all, but I would like to focus on some personal games and new releases pretty soon. Not to mention I will be going back to work full time again and I do not think I want to work for 9 hours and then come home and work again. I just need a small break to do nothing when I get home from a full 9 hour day.

I am worried this decision will hurt my visibility, but I want to try it just once and make amends later.

All in all, I hope that we will continue to see each other when I post about my characters and all the shenanigans I hope to push them into. I also want to try out a few YCH’s again instead of pure commissions and see how those go. I’m rambling now and this journal has turned deeply unprofessional, so excuse the mess!
