Great so RPG Maker games featuring furry girls are now too much for the banking system's morality police and Western Sharia Law? Not like there's much surprise given how on Youtube almost every independent animation containing anthro or dragon characters is now instantly age-restricted, since apparently only commercial animation studios are allowed to animate other-worldly species or use approved art styles. Welcome back to the 1960's except it's somehow far worse.

At least you got to use Patreon close to the very end and get donations for your awesome game. I used it for 9 years myself and had to shut it down a few months ago, both Patreon and Payoneer wanted to preform identity theft on me well beyond the red line I was willing to tolerate. I took it as an opportunity to leave early, since even if it wasn't for that I'd have likely been targeted by the artwork morality police too eventually.

Still, I guess it’s their site and they can choose to enforce whatever rules suit them. If they don’t want my game on their site, I’ll just go somewhere else. Admittedly, it’s possibly easier to take that view as I only created an account on it after it was clear that vore content was on thin ice there, so I always knew this was probably coming. I’m really sorry to hear that you also got kicked off as well though. Nine years is a long time to get invested in something before having it taken away like that.

Still so creepy and absurd that platforms like Patreon and Youtube actively hate anthro characters or particular art styles or other genres enough to go after creators for fiction: I may be unique in a few regards, but it does contribute to my already strong feeling that whoever runs the world declared war on our existence using every means they have power over. A couple of days ago on Mastodon I saw an artist claiming he was left homeless after Patreon kicked them out, even worse than what we dealt with since at least we have how to live without it: Those services aren't just stupid but very evil and have no awareness of the actual responsibility they have toward people.

Didn't think of it like that though, guess it helps somewhat: I envisioned Patreon and much else as things that would be around for the rest of my lifetime. That's back when I thought the world is on an upward trend toward respect for everyone and modernization, before realizing it was the exact opposite; With an understanding of where we're actually at, yeah things like Patreon were a brief miracle and we're lucky it could exist for as long as it did before someone had to inevitably ruin it.

Yeah, I can see that I’m very lucky that I’ve always been able to treat this as a hobby and not something that I depended to survive. I guess there will be others like Subscribestar that will hopefully remain open and more friendly towards vore and furry art, and hopefully Subscribestar will be able to grow bigger and be a more viable platform thanks to Patreon pushing away its furry demographic. Still, even in that case, having to change platforms thanks to Patreon changing their approach is not going to be easy for anyone who thought they could relying on it for their income.

Thanks. I’m hoping the next version will come out soon… but writing endings has always been one of the parts I’ve struggled with in most projects, so this update is taking a while.

I might look into Subscribestar if I ever decide to try a similar project in the future, but for now I’m just going to let Pacha’s Quest go back to being a hobby that I do for fun. Having people pay me for it felt like it added to the pressure a little so I guess this is kind of a relief in some ways. Also, thanks again for all the support you’ve given me with this, (not to mention the awesome sound assets you made available). I really appreciate it.

Subscribestar as a service is doing great so far, though given what's happening everywhere in the world and on the internet I wonder how long it can last even for them. Its biggest problem is that it's tiny compared to Patreon: I had one for years alongside it, but almost no one ever pledged on or noticed the later. I still have SS but for the most part took a break from content creation in general, until we figure out what's going on in this world and I feel safe creating things I enjoy again.
