FA's still got smiles!

Special notice:
It is a bit upsetting that Emoticons are now so infrequently seen. They used to be quite easy and on the verge of being every where on FurAffinity. That feature has not been omitted but gradual shifts and losses of information have causes Emoticons to become fairly rare. But there are at least a few FA members who retain and share this information.

That is only two. Admitted this is just on a lark and not part of any mission to find everything. But if you know more, please share it. Let's puts some 's back on FA.

Or maybe even something actually more furry centric like this 😸 ? The default ones on my phone are better in this regard. Also for some reason the smiles mess up the formatting in replies which is also weird lol
The aversion I have to using them on, coupled with my preference to format/edit my posts on FA and the untoggleable window-timer for modification after the initial post- never really understood that from a client-side perspective, but can grok it server-end, my starcat
And as a writer by trade I try to stick to commenting in a format I'm accustomed to, working within a closed, set timeframe to write, post, then tidy up what I've submitted as needeed. I'm better at expressing my emotions in telegraphed or written context, verbose, and I generally prefer that anyway. I also am dealing with mild nerve and motor troubles- some of which will be permanent, found in recent months- and I often do go back and edit my comments; I'm doing that right now.
Basic text-formatting itself on FA (bold, underline, italics, etc.) I've gotten the hang of, but I dislike knowing I struggled to get it right if I used basic text formatting at all until a couple of years ago, and there's an aversion there, too. So generally it's more psychologically economical for me not to use FA's emoticons, given the UX/UI for their use and my personal preferences and aversions.

I only remember a few myself:
Code (for forcing formatting to be ignored):

(Bracketing command, like Italic or bold)
Smile:

Wink:

"CD":

Mug: :mug:
:mug:
Quote:

I believe the alternate to add the username uses quote=username
Well, time ti hit post and see how much is correct.
