Earlier Furry art sites used to have more community as well -- SCFA for example used to give beginner creatives access to their peers, who reciprocated -- its forum was as big as the gallery side. Here, its porn, $$$, porn+$$$. The artists like yourself who want to do more don't have an easy time finding groups of others at their level doing the same thing on this site.

Your definitely correct that there is a significantly larger percentage of people on this website for the nsfw side of things, myself even actually finding your page through your nsfw artworks. However I still personally enjoy your art and think your incredibly talented, I may not have learned much about the worlds you have crafted for your characters yet but I see the passion and enthusiasm you put into them. If your uncomfortable with the nsfw side of the fandom and wish to separate yourself from it I honestly respect that greatly as it’s a difficult thing for many to do, honestly for multiple reasons as many make their livelihood from such artwork.



I guess what I’m trying to say is it may take a while to gather a following, but don’t lose heart. Stick to your convictions and enjoy your passions, do what you enjoy doing for the sake of doing it, and I hope that one day people will come to appreciate these works as well c3

So maybe you might find a following there or in similar space fiction subreddits or websites)
