So I've been part of the furry community in one form or another for a long time now and the one thing that has always stood out for me is the sense of togetherness. Even though Furaffinity was down for only a couple days, I had a real sense of being cut off. The furry community has always, at least from my experience, worked together and joined together in times of need.

You hurt one of us; you hurt all of us.

Yes, we had other ways of remaining in contact, but for myself, Furaffinity is where I always come back to. I'm not a big voice in the community. I do tend to keep to myself, but to everyone out there, from the loudest dragons to the tiniest mice, you do matter.

I also want to mention the amazing people behind Furaffinity. Without their tireless efforts, we wouldn't have this place that many of us call home.

My deepest condolences to Dragoneer's family. I never interacted with him directly, but this community he helped build is a remarkable legacy and deserves to be protected.
