Name: Kiki-Ohki (Based on anime creatures known as "Cabbits" that have big white tufts in their ears and look like a cross between a cat and a rabbit. if you know your Anime, you know it's from Tenchi Muyo).
You were my sunshine....My only sunshine..you made me happy when skies were gray...you'll never know, dear..how much I'll miss you...I'll see on the rainbow bridge one day...
Kiki....I love you, baby girl....I always will....You made me laugh, your "Cagney Cat" meow will forever echo in my ears....I'll never forget making you your first toy when I was so poor I was eating ketchup packets...From the time I got you I busted hump to make sure I kept you happy and fed and entertained...I'll never forget how you would play fetch....I swear sometimes you thought you were a doge..Or the way you would lay your head in my hand and fall asleep...or the way you'd randomly just start grooming me...I always thought it was some maternal instinct you still had despite not being able to have kittens of your own...Or the time the old roomie's doges chased you up the telephone pole and you didn't come down for 3 hours.Got a photo of that, too...Now...all I have left are memories and a room full of reminders.........and it feels empty.........without you here, it feels empty and close and forlorn......like all the life was sucked out.....I can't help but feel if I could have gotten you there yesterday, this wouldn't have happened, and you'd have been in a place where they could have helped you better than I could....I'm sorry, Kiki.....I'm sorry I failed you.. I'm sorry I wasn't fast enough....
I spent the better part of last night laying under my bed with her...I barely fit....but I wasn't about to let her lay there alone...suffering......I just...I didn't realize it was this bad....you hid your pain so well, baby..you were so brave and strong.....and i just....I just wasn't strong enough to save you.... You will be in my heart, my thoughts....you'll be part of my soul from here until the day I meet you at the other end of the Rainbow Road.....
Tell Papa, Pat, Joe, Thor, Bastet, Merlin "They Gray", Grace, Lazy, Dustin, Chivas, Josh, Grandma & Grandpa Johnson, Papa Errol, and the various loved ones and pets I've lost to time and life's slings and arrows...Tell them all I said "Hello..I miss you. And I love you all very much."
