Moving soonish
Soo, title says it all, I am moving soonish.
I have been living in the garage of family friends for the last several years, and have been saving/working a few jobs and this and that and the other thing.
It worked for me for all these years and it will still be sorta a backup plan for bad weather, but I will be more full-time in my van. I was able to trade in my old van for a spiffy new one (I will miss the old Savanna, but new van I can stand up in. My knees will thank me. No more crawling
Me and my family will be outfitting the basics and then taking it to a local Van-outfitter for the installation of various tanks and equipment.
Sorta doing that vanlife thing but I will still have a home base/workshop/studio when needed.
Yay new van!

(Also yes, big +1 to not making your knees cry for mercy whenever you're tryna use the van space in the back lol)
I was able to use a big solar panel to gain back power that was used over then night and morning, make breakfast using Waffle Iron. (waffles=yum) and power camp accessories with comfort and ease.
It also gets far better gas milage than my last van and its dashboard isn't reminiscent of a Christmas tree. (all the pretty lights)
And LMAO, the thought of all those warning lights just makes me think of some car from a Top Gear special 😂
good luck...

The old van I had was an 07’ GMC Savanna work van. It sported the usual old gm factory white, er, missing paint pattern, converted ladder rack and body panel denting of a well used work van. It had a 3inch lift kit installed as Comcast/xfinity apparently used it to service backwoods installations and overall just seemed to be a bit more beefy than most other vans of its linage.
