The History of the Babyfur Community Launch Video Fund Dr...
Hi all!
I have started pre-production work on a short series of videos about the history of the babyfur community.
I'm hoping the videos can both help educate newcomers to the community as well as curious outsiders, that it can preserve some bits of trivial knowledge for the distant future, and just be plain entertaining.
The scope won't be too ambitious. This is not going to be an epic five-hour video essay breakdown covering every possible facet of the babyfur community. Instead, I am planning it as a series of shorter videos, each focusing on a particular topic. Maybe two to six minutes in length each, if I'm to make a guess, produced and released at a leisurely pace. How many videos there will be, I don't know; I'd have content for at least five bite-sized videos, but more might be possible.
Also: Things may change. Maybe it will turn into a five-hour long video essay after all! Or maybe I'll find that I have less content than anticipated. Or maybe real life will happen, and it will have to be put on hold. But this is the current plan that I hope and intend to realize.
But! Right now, the main thing I'm missing to make this project a reality are some visual assets. Mainly visual representations of myself in different moods that can be used for the videos to accompany the talking (similar to popular creators such as Saberspark). There may be other assets needed too, which will become obvious when work starts proper.
So to help get the assets done that are needed for these videos to get off the ground and get produced, I'm doing a fund drive on Ko‑fi to try to raise $250. 💰😲

If we somehow exceed the goal... I wouldn't mind getting some diapers and a pizza. And commissioning even more assets, of course!
(If we somehow get a lot more (which is not very likely), I'd love to finally get a lifetime license to the video editing software I've been using, DaVinci Resolve. The free version is great, but there are certain useful features that are paywalled. It's hecking expensive at around $400, so I don't expect we'd reach it; I'd be more than thrilled if we just reach the base target.)
If we don't reach the goal... I'll try my best with what I do get. Or it might be put on hold indefinitely, perhaps until I have the remaining funds myself to help reach the target.
For anyone that donates, their name will go in the credits of the launch video. It's not much, but it's a small way to show my appreciation to any supporters. 🙏
You can see some of my non-babyfur videos here (including several videos related to Bluey), which may give an idea of my general video making style: https://www.youtube.com/@MilesTFBaxxter
As for the actual videos on the history of the babyfur community, I'm planning on posting them here: https://www.youtube.com/@milesafterbedtime
Whether you decide to support or not, I thank you for your time and wish you the best. ❤️

TLDR: I'm trying to collect funds to commission artwork needed to make videos about the history of the babyfur community.
