My neighbor died today.

I've got some sad news I need to get off my chest.
Earlier today, my next door neighbor died from terminal cancer. She had been having health problems for some time, and eventually she had to go to the hospital to find out what was wrong. It turned she had cancer on two or three areas of her body. Later, we found out that it was terminal. It was pretty tough seeing her in her deteriorating condition, but at least she had loved ones by her side.
And now, she's at peace.
It's just so hard for me to wrap my head around. I had known her for 25+ years, and now she's no longer with us. I guess I'm just more stunned than anything.
