Considering Art Hiatus

Hello everyone who reads this. I want to mention I've been trying to draw lately to make art to share here as well as do commissions but unfortunately I have to consider something.
I am considering an Art Hiatus due to really bad carpal tunnel in my hands (especially my dominant hand). I am unsure how long it will be before I'm back to drawing, just know it hurts badly to draw. I am going to try to get my carpal tunnel looked into and possibly get surgery if its bad enough (it feels bad enough since its making my fingers go numb as well as making my pinky finger hurt like hell). I will make more updates on this the best I can, it is easier for me to type and play games on my keyboard and mouse (i have wrist support cushions where my keyboard and mouse are which helps a bit) but again it hurts like hell to draw or write. If you see me making FFXIV screenshots on my socials or discord thats because it is easier for me to do, through I cannot edit them since editing involves using my tablet and pen.
I do want to apologize for this, I know I have people interested in commissioning me but I don't want to be in pain when doing my favorite hobby as well as the quality of my work decreasing due to my issues with my hands. Though I am willing to add people to a waitlist for when I open commissions again! You can contact me on my socials (Twitter, Bluesky) or my discord server in the link below. I will ask for whatever info I need for my waitlist as well as make it easier to transfer from waitlist to active commission when I am ready for it (the more info for the commission the better!)

Also, speaking of commissions, I am also considering raising my prices due to my job (my main source of income atm) giving me piss poor hours for no reason all of a sudden and will cause me to struggle to afford important things (rent, food, medical especially for surgery if I need it for my hands). I am trying my hardest but there is only so much I can do when it comes to my body falling apart. I will consider raising my prices until AFTER I am officially back from the hiatus (if I do it). I am also considering making a donation page (unsure where) if I need help due to the sudden poor income I am dealing with. If I do make a donation page then just know it is not mandatory to donate, only do it if you can 100% afford it. We will see if I go through with these things after a while.
I will make announcements here, on my other accounts if possible, and especially in my discord server on any updates with me and commissions/hiatus. Again, I apologize for all of this but drawing is too painful right now.
