Something interesting.
It's been some years since I did much Bible study, the other day I ran across something interesting. In the Bible demons refer to themselves as they, them, and us and we.
Now how do many in the woke movement refer to themselves? Just an interesting thought from the local Pagan... may the God and Goddess keep you safe.

As to your question - I doubt many of them have ever read the bible.

Most likely few have opened the the book much less take the time to read it in depth.

There is the double edged sword of prophecy in faiths of the world over . They come to pass only in hindsight-22. But there is the catch in the Bible that it states we never know the hour nor the time.
That is we’re faith comes in.
As far we the people go in 1777 I am quite sure the British saw them as woke and and that Washington as a demon who stalked columns of redcoats through the hills instead of stacking up in long lines to shoot each other as civilized men. And that too is the double edged sword of history . Won’t know until it happens . We are all capable of being a whore of a Babylon , up to us who we play in the stage.for a time.
Some people who are systems (that is, have dissociative identity disorder) will refer to themselves as us/we, but that's entirely different. I'm sure I don't have to tell you that pathologizing mental disorders as demonic is not wise.
Rather, this sounds like christian conspiracy theories to demonize transgender people... unfortunately, nothing new. :(
As if anyone aspires to their flavor of equity. Which seems to be a social currency based entirely around who can destroy themselves the most completely the most quickly.
Easy enough to see the bible demons as referring to themselves collectively.
Just the same as those worldly 'people' who need to collectivize themselves into a group (of any flavor, not just the wokies) rather than viewing themselves as individuals first and foremost.
More people are making use of the area than ever before, but it sure ain't the same place it once was.
Making life easier for us freaks and geeks had a noble tinge to it, but making it easier to deviate from the traditional norms sure feels like it is making life into hell for a lot of people who would be much better served by the traditional recipe for a happy life.
