It’s time to announce the winner of Naptime’s Crinkle Writing Contest II!
As always, it was a pleasure to see people enter in a story. The entries were worryingly low this time around, but it was nice to have a couple entries anyway. Much like before, I’ll be compiling a list of all the submitted stories and sharing it at a later date!
But first, an honorary mention.

Cello's Orchard by LasombraLexie
The concept of cursed lemonade is an intriguing idea and plays really well with the contest's prompt! I feel the story had the potential to explore this idea in depth if it had been given more time. As it stands, however, the narrative feels rushed and lacks the descriptive details needed to fully flesh out the scenes. It was an entertaining read, but I personally had a little bit of trouble understanding what was being said.

Lemonade with Extra Ice by Messica_Vix
This story had a very nice soft theme to it which made it a pleasure to read. It does a great job capturing the inner struggle of social anxiety mixed perfectly with how difficult it is to open up about your little side and how having a good partner that clicks just right with you can help you weather that storm. It's a nice short story about a diaper friendly barbeque and a nervous bun who's just trying to get through it all in one piece. I enjoyed it!

Hey thanks for the entry! I do hope I wasn't too hard on your story. Honestly, the ingredients for a good story ARE there! It's just that it needed a little bit more time in the oven. Hope you keep on keeping on and produce some great stories!

Thank you for the prize! Honestly wish you could get more of a turn out with the next one when it eventually crops up again. It's way more fun when you have a group of people working and competing and collaborating on one massive contest.
