Hey y'all !
SO. Things happened during my break and I am now finally able to update this channel !
The main thing : I've been struggling with my physical health ever since december 2023 ; what started as what I thought were stomach / digestion issues turned out to be gallbladder issues, and i kept having liver attacks (mistaken as really bad indigestion) until about two weeks ago where I was hospitalized for emergency gallbladder removal surgery because, guess what ! My body was actively trying to poison me. Lol. Surgery went great and I am now almost done with recovery ! (which is neat, the type of surgery I had made for an easy and quick recovery). Everything that lead to my hospitalization was honestly a little bit traumatizing, mostly because of the medical negligence I went through (don't let doctors dismiss your health issues as stress 🙃) but now that I went through it and the issue was removed, I feel great ! I am no longer afraid of eating and triggering a liver attack.
2) Immediately when I got cleared from the hospital and went home, my laptop gave up on me :') to be fair here it was a long time coming, but it put a dent in my savings that I didn't really expect nor need. My new computer is arriving tomorrow so I'll be able to resume work finally !
NOW. Going through all of this on top of feeling creatively burned out, I don't think I can resume custom commissions, because my overall health is still not great. I am thinking of working on adoptables and YCHs, because they tend to limit the amount of energy and back and forth involved in 100% custom commissions.
Now it's not to be said that there can't be exceptions ! Don't hesitate to PM me if you are interested in getting a custom quote, just be aware that I reserve the right to say no !
