Hello everyone,

I hope this journal finds everyone in good spirits.

I just wanted to announce that I will be in school in Florence, Italy, for the entire autumn studying art and art history. I've signed up for two intensive workshops, so this will be a lot of work, but I'm looking forward to it! I'm hoping to learn a ton (through many hours of practice, if nothing else) and I'll evaluate next steps in my art studies after I see how this goes.

I depart in mid-September and will be back in the US right before Christmas.

I visited Florence in 2012, but this will be more like student living than a tourist stay. Should be an interesting experience all around. Wish me luck!
