The years I've spent on this site have been rather quiet, and I never really tried to make anything of my own, having been content to just view others' work.
WELL. I spent most of the last year or so battling illness, and now having come out the other side, erm, mostly unscathed (I hope), I figured there's no time like the present to try and do something new. So, in honor of a good friend of mine, I'll try to do just that. Here's hoping I can stick with it. And that I don't die! :)
