Here is one for Dan: What one specific feline trait makes Alex an extra special lady in your eyes? Conversely, what one specific canine trait does the same for Krista?

"Hmm...with Alex, I'd say it's how limber and flexible she is. I've seen some videos of her performances from when she was a ballerina, not to mention yoga and her *other* kind of dancing later in life. It astounds me how fit she keeps herself.

"With Krista, canine-specific I'd say is her ears. They're adorable, they frame her face well, and...ahem...they're fun to bite on when...well, you can connect the dots, I'm sure."

To Alex:
-Where do you like being rubbed the most? :3
-What traits do you find attractive?

"Rubbed, I'd say the basics: nipples, thighs, genitals, back, shoulders - the usual. Used to be a lot bigger on footrubs when I was dancing; only thing to get me through the day sometime.s

I like when someone is compassionate and understanding. And when they aren't too clingy; there are many partners who I love, but I also value my independence. It's not always easy to blend the two."

For all three: What were some concerns you had relationship-wise when you three finally decided to become a throuple? What were some of the hardest issues to overcome?

Krista: "There were some worries about logistics at the beginning. Living arrangements, dates."

Dan: "There was a time early on when the latter were a bit hard to arrange equally. We ended up putting a schedule together."

Alex: "We were also worried about how family would take it. My parents were cautious but accepting, Dan's too."

Krista: "My father and sister were both encouraging. Mom...took a bit more convincing. "

Dan: "Friends we weren't worried about. We had already managed to surround ourselves with some extremely open-minded folks. We're not even the first polycule in our circle."

Krista: "Dan and Alex work with a couple members of one of them, and I'm self-employed, so being outed at work happily wasn't an issue."

Dan: "We were worried about how any future kids would take it. We're at three now, and so far they seem okay with it. Not sure what it will be like when they're all at school, though."

Were you worried about jealousy or feelings of neglect entering into your relationship, feelings of being a third wheel or not being as bonded to the others as they are to each other? How were you able to assuage these feelings, if any, and let the other know that all are in this for good, all doubts relieved?

Dan: "I certainly was. Alex and Krista had been friends with benefits even before I arrived on the scene, so there was that fear that I'd be in the way. It didn't matter that Krista and I were married, and that we had both had extracurricular romps separately and together: Alex could literally give her something I couldn't, and there was that quiet fear in the back of my head. Especially with all the New Relationship Energy vibrating in the air. It took a while to move past it. That was partly why we instituted the dating rotation - to make sure nobody was left out."
