Roaches in excess: Any takers?
Here are some roaches I have available:
- Lobster
- Turkestan
- Australian
- American
- Discoid
- Dubia
Google them if you want to know what they look like! If you need latin names, ask.
If anyone's interested, send me a note! Cost of shipping + $5 per 10 roaches; up to 50 or so of each are available! I can ship worldwide. They are all very easy to care for, requiring only some dirt, a 5 gallon tank, a glass lid, some sticks, water, and old vegetables & dog food to eat.
Want roaches but have an excuse not to get them?.....
"I don't have enough space!" A large colony of one roach species would only take up about 10x6 inches of space on a table, seriously.
"I can't afford it!" It's cheaper to own a pet rock, haha.
"I don't want them infesting my home!" I've kept roaches for several years now, and never had a problem with escapees getting loose into the house. As long as you have a glass lid, it's hardly a concern that they will escape.
"My parents/significant other won't let me!" Well, that one I have no rebuttal for. Sucks to be you. :(
I could handle this many roaches just fine, but I like the idea of someone else sharing my enthusiasm for owning roaches and studying them, so I just thought I'd offer. :)

Some roach species aren't easy to keep, but all of these are VERY easy and breed like wildfire. It's hard to kill them even if you try, lol. They're happy with room temperature, the occasional spray of water from a water bottle, and being fed as infrequently as once a week. In fact, I only feed my roaches about once every five days or so and keep them in a cool-ish room, just to help keep breeding down. :3 They tend to live longer and breed slower in cooler areas of 60 degrees F or so.
WHY YOU DO THIS NOOOOOWWWWW when i am not at home. ;-;
I've wanted lobster roaches for a few months now.
Maybe in a year or so when I have a place for myself, you'll find me begging for bugs. xD
