An awful breach of trust...

First off: I am not interested in age regression, and rules are rules. My issue is with the handling and enforcement.
Current FurAffinity staff has, behind the scenes, changed an interpretation of their rules, and/or modified their enforcement of rules. With no communication to users, they are issuing bans and suspension to long time artists, many of which are supporters of FA during some of its worst times. This was not an off the cuff action of one person, it was clearly planned, with recon and list making done in advance as many artists have been instantaneously affected. The furry community in general is highly vulnerable, and many artists have put deep trust, and support, into FA. They also make a living from it. Dragoneer knew and understood this, for all the flaws and bad decisions that were made, they were not intended to be openly harmful. This was openly harmful to a community full of vulnerable individuals that struggles with mental health already, the furry community. This is an open sign to those artists that the management of this community rejects them as individuals, and it will be detrimental to their personal mental health.
FA, you know better. If there's a rules enforcement or interpretation change, it needs to be CLEARLY communicated before hand, with at least a day, or a few days, for honest, hardworking artists and commissioners to achieve compliance.
I believed in this community. I donated high triple digits to the gofundme, to honor the legacy of 'neer. This blatantly desecrates it. I remember, long before I was Resua, sitting in a Datacenter in Virginia while listening to a man who was on the verge of a break down, and taking time to talk to him. That man deeply cared about the community that his servers were struggling to support, fixing them after another HDD failure. That is the legacy I honor, not this.
I cannot support this behavior, and therefore will cancel my FA+ if this is the accepted norm, and we do not hear about how this is turned into a teaching moment to improve FA's new management.

And yeah. I know there's a lot of vindictive people here that'd love any excuse to ban something like the fat furries, for example. Some of us still remember how batshit they went over a stuffed belly in the thanksgiving banners long ago.
