In light or recent events that I find absolutely absurd and do not agree with, I worry about the future of our community here as well as the future of the furry community as a whole. Just so ya'll know, I have been in the fandom for over 20 years. This is not my first profile here. My original profile was created in 2005. Fur Affinity was the very first place I found people like myself. This site and the friends I made pulled me from a very dark and depressing place. If I never found this site, I would not be the fur I am today. This is why it breaks my heart to see this happening here. There has always been hate and drama towards us from others over the years, but this is getting ridiculous.
Just to be VERY VERY VERY CLEAR: I have never drawn a minor in a sexual situation. I never have and I never will. Seeing our community framed in that way is extremely offensive to me.
Anyways because of this I removed a large chunk of my gallery. Most of the stuff I removed was probably okay, but I didn't want to take any chances. I will also be ramping down posting here in general. I will still try to post when and what I think I can. I did plan on posting a huge swath of stuff this week, but I'm now going to hold off just to see how this play out.
As far at the With Little Paws We Toddle Afar book, I am not removing it as of now. I'm not quite sure how to proceed as I don't want to just completely wipe something that is very dear to me and brings joy and validation so so many others. Over the next few days I will try to think of a creative way of approaching this. ALSO JUST SO YOU ALL KNOW YOU CAN FIND ALL OF THE PAGES UP THROUGH CHAPTER 9 ON MY WEBSITE. These are the full pages as well as the standard and mobile versions in a downloadable PDF format.
I hope that all of this simmers down after the smoke clears, but regardless if you enjoy my art and writing, you should try to follow me on other platforms. I am listing below. Also, just a heads up Twitter has become a dumpster fire, so I highly suggest that if you follow me there, then also follow me on Mastodon or Bluesky as a backup.
