Update, WITH Schedule!
Hello again, everyone!
Well, it's been a little bit, so I thought it'd be a good time to give you an update of what's been happening and why things have been so quiet. From the last journal, you guys know that me and my roommate have been house-hunting and getting ready to move. Some of you already know this, but to the rest of you:
It's done. We're in the new house. And it's awesome.
Good house-vibes aside, I've been getting settled in, unpacking, getting everywhere there it's supposed to be. Which, in turn, means that there's been a lot of getting used to a new setting and finding time to work has been a trifle more difficult than expected.
That has shifted, as I've done a commission a day for the past couple of days, and I'm slowly ramping up.
Now, that isn’t to say that there isn’t a wait list at the moment, or that there isn’t a lot to get done. There is. In fact, you can see it on the Trello here.

But the point is, I’m getting things done. Little by little, bit by bit, we’re clearing the list that I had left behind. And I’m getting the outstanding stream stories done, as well; trying to aim to get one of those done every Sunday, with some success, some failure.
Once the current list is cleared, I have a two-week splurge that I have to attend after that, but once that’s done, we should, fingers crossed, finally be back on schedule.
Thank you for your patience, and thank you for continuing to wait on me. Let’s keep this a-rolling.

...what is your long term plan? As in, are you and your roommate going to live together for a long time? I just found it a bit curious that you moved to a house. Are you renting or did you buy it (and paying in long term I imagine)? Once again, sorry for being intrusive and feel free to ignore me.
Honestly, I would have been alright continuing to rent with my roommate for another year or two, but he was very eager to be out of that place and into a house, and quite honestly, the house is a major upgrade over the apartment. I decided to go along with the roommate to the house because it makes financial sense (our mortgage is less than the rent would have been in another year or so, and it'll stay fixed at the current rate), and I doubt either of us have any plans for moving for at least the next ten years.
Why would it be curious, if you don't mind me asking?
And I can sympathize with not knowing what you want out of life. On an old New Year journal of yours I commented that I had for 2022 the goal of moving to Germany for a Master, and I did and will be done hopefully next February at the latest (just doing the thesis), but recently I've realized Idk what I want to do after (work, PhD at a Uni, PhD at a company, or what), and whether I want to look for a boyfriend (I'm starting to think that I may be gay but aromantic...), adopt kids or not, etc. I don't know where I see myself in 5, 10 or 50 years. I worry about who would be around me in my deathbed (if there even will be someone lol).
Anyway, sorry for the rant, I wish you luck and hopefully you post more feet stuff on your AD lol
For my sake, I'm asexual and I have no idea if I have romantic feelings for people or not, so it's kind of a weird one to work with. As it stands, owning a house is a good thing in general, and I also don't have the urge to move around and go other places. Considering the opportunity came up and there's not going to be a better chance for a while, I thought I'd take it and hope for the best.
I'm glad that you got the college and university stuff going for you. I hope to find something in the future, but for now, I'm just looking for happiness and trying to find out what makes me happy.
