I did have a positive expereince in having to be in this, and I feel safe to try it out instead of having to be on devoted pay for service sites like www.eharmony.com, or sites that purposely delay your messaging and wants to get more of your money like https://furrymate.com/ .
It does seem that sometimes, this way despite of having to meet with someone for just a very short amount of time, you may get to vibe and get and see where you would go-even that short amount of time, you get to know yourself. I think that after this, I will want to do this again-it is worth the money.
It was that this was my first time last Saturday that I got to this, and I feel that I would connect with a few that would be fine by both looks and personality. I would feel that I should stay after the dating to talk to a few, but I was a little overwhelmed-however a little less than what I did at one convention that was similar to this, only that it was not towards dating, but making more connections as friends.
It is a good thing too that I get to open up a lot more, and get more comfortable. I will admit me being introverted, but if it is that I'm in a space that has some control, I can be more open, and this is a setting that I can be happy to possibly be changing my status on Myers-Briggs list on https://www.16personalities.com.
I know, I will not find a date right away, but in perhaps the next one if I do have something like this, I can know what to expect, and I''l be more comfortable and have post speed dating talks.
Of course, the one I'm in is for straight, and I like, but there would be too for LGBTQIA+ (one for each). But yes, if there is a time for this and it does involve furries, especially those that are straight, do sign me up for it if it is close to me!
I believe the system works, so I hope that this becomes a reality in the FF'dom and other fandoms that relate and are looking for singles.
...and a final note, PLEASE, if you will be one that is humble and mute and don't feel like you will be taken or just want to take space, DON'T COME AND BE A PARTY POOPER. (I have seen that with a female who wants to play video games, and not be active in elaborating nore come up with questions. If she just wants to be a COMPLETE unsociable loner, why did she come and waste money to be there?! 🤨🤔😒 Don't be "that guy or gal" like in the conventions that is known to misbehave in the hotel rooms/suites.)
HOWEVER, TO BUILD OFF OF THIS--if you do want to be in one, there's always rules to follow, and if you do want to participate in one, you would want to read these before going so you won't embarrass yourself and others nor risk being banned from attending another one:
