That's really crappy, while it hasn't happened to me recently since I've moved to living on a hill, when I was younger our house and neighborhood got flooded multiple times. Hopefully, any damage that happened to people's homes and businesses isn't in an unrecoverable state, and things are up and running again for you and everyone else quickly.
