The remaining commissions are very slowly being worked on right now. My shoulder is constantly painful, apparently because of my wrong posture when i draw.
Drawing like this for years, it finally caught up to me..
If anyone has suggestions for easy shoulder relaxing methods (except massages), i would love to hear it :')
I'm also already doing some shoulder muscle workout, because it's way too weak, but that will take a while.

Another thing, in my experience, is that shoulder problems can be caused by neck or jaw misalignment that is pinching your nerves. If you are having any neck pain at all, getting that solved would directly help resolve your shoulder problems.
Though now that it is colder i will probably try an over shoulder heating pad like you said.
Luckily i do not have neck pain (except if i slept wrong) so it probably is not a pinched nerve, it is very likely just my wrong posture and weak shoulder muscles and also the fact that i have extreme problems to relax, especially my shoulders.
One last idea: This isn't an easy method, but if you can find a physical therapist that does "Dry Needling" then it would probably greatly speed up your shoulder recovery. It is *much* more effective than a massage.
In any case, I really hope that you find a good path to recovery! Pain interfering with something that you love doing is one of the worst things to deal with ><
Saying this as someone who's crafting for a living and has had shoulder blade issues since around 2018. Pills and anti inflammatory medicine doesn't get you very far.
Exercise wise, look into rotator cuff rehab. I don't know if that's your specific issue but it's super common.
But of course, that is not shoulder specific, never had a problem there
