The Return (also official announcements n stuff)
I've finally escaped the top secret research laboratory under the king of prussia mall where they take people randomly from the Nordstroms and use them in sick and awesome but sometimes a little cruel experiments where they try to make furries real. They were pretty cool down there and they let me keep a little notebook to write down ideas, but the hooters did the catering for the place and the cheeseburgers were so mid i had to escape.
Regardless that means I'm back now and I can continue to write stories and shit. Hopefully two years wiser now.
First things first, TRG. Y'know the thing people clicked the watch button to see more of, yes.
You'll be seeing some new (or rather updated) stuff soon, though with a big change that I'm hoping to pitch to you all here.
So, main issue for making more TRG for me's been mostly time issues. I'm doing things now and don't have as much time for porn as I used to back in the good old days of 2021 (when I originally wrote most of TRG). The story has 113~ paths that I have to write a whole different block of text for each because I am stupid and don't know what a variable is. This has also caused a secondary issue, where the story is so large at this point (503,000 words in 1300 passages) that there's a noticeable input lag whenever I write anything in Twine.
So, how do I continue the story without having to redo everything from scratch with programming knowledge I do not have.
Simple.
I'm turning the story into just a block of text you can read, but with a compromise to keep some of the major choices in the story.
The idea is that I write the story, beginning to end following a single path. Then afterwards I can interject at certain points in the story with alternate versions of those parts, and those keep going up until their path concludes. Doing this I can also ship each path piecemeal to you all when i'm not busy, dropping new paths and what-ifs every so often.
Besides that I'm also workshopping a second story that I have a rough plotline draft for, similar to TRG but in a different setting that i've also wanted to do for a while. A psuedo-historical one, because nothing gets me harder than stories inspired by geo-politics from 50+ years ago. Again, still no concrete structure for this one, yet.
Hell, I don't even know if i'll do it as a shorter CYOA or also as a PDF.
But look fowards to turning into a creature again soon, I guess.
Hopefully soon isn't in a dozen months.
