So I’m making a visual novel
a year ago
Decided to have a crack at putting my art and writing ability (such that it is) into making a dinosaur-themed dating sim based on “Snoot Game” and “I Wani Hug That Gator.”
The basic outline is that of a quasi-faceless human protagonist (the player avatar) one Joe Sykzpak: 23 year old gymbro and general douchecanoe, crossing paths with 38 year old Struthiomimus college art professor and single mother, Ruth O’Meara. A torrid romance results, where you can shape their destinies and help to mend their ways, finding true love along the way, or condemn them to a tragic fate.
Been plugging away at it since March and I have an Alpha build script written as well as some concept artwork. Gonna be a lot more work to come though.
