I'm definitely lucky that the trajectory of my life has, overall, gotten better/happier as time has gone on, so I don't regret how long past that time seems now as I wouldn't go back to that age/the experiences I had then for all the money in the world (unless I was allowed to change the course of my own history with my current knowledge). But yeah, it definitely doesn't feel like 2006 was eighteen years ago.
