I've used it. Some folk won't even touch it, others are fine with it...but seems to be the minority Not sure why. It has less fees than any other media, and a much better exchange rate. It's a big help to artists outside USA and EU.
I’ve personally never used it
If paypal is an option, that’s usually what I stick with since I can load funds on my PayPal account and bypass the international payment issue with my bank
I wouldn’t mind trying it one day to see how well it works
I think it would be great for people in countries that have problems with stuff like embargos and whatnot. But I have yet to see an artist use that. Which is kinda weird, the long time where paypal was just not an option, I would have guessed that was the first thing to go to.
It does have problems. Most people that don't already have some crypto probably wouldn't buy it for this. Also, which crypto to use. I wouldn't buy new crypto just for that either, I would want to use my existing ones, and I got no tether. Using a one-company-controlled crypto also kinda seems to defeat the purpose, what if that company joined in with the many others and also embargoe'd that country? Then again, I'm no expert, maybe it doesn't work that way
in PayPal, there is a transfer via USDT, it does not matter what to buy and what currency, because the payment itself is made as in a single currency and therefore it is easier for it to be transferred 🤔
Paypal is not banned in my country, but the fees they take are extremely abusive. That said, it is true that PP does not let you buy crypt through their system outside of USA. And I don't remember if it even lets you transfer them outside of PP system.
The advantage of crypto is that it allows people to connect digital wallets. And it has digital wallets in common with country outside of the USA and EU, which does not happen with wallets like PP, Cashapp, Kraken, etc.
As per which one to use, I would suggest USDT-which is the crypt equivalent of USD- Bitcoin or ETH. These are the most stable coins. I do suggest to buy to send it over, and for receiver to turn it into regular currency for withdrawal. I've had mixed experiences with keeping crypto. It's a bit of a bet game, and if it's your income, it's not fun to play with it.
I accepted the payment and transferred it to my card and I know how and what, of course, but unfortunately you can't accept payment by crypto or talk about crypto on the fa, they can ban you for this :(

I like that fee is just 2%
