When are we going to get an update on Cassy? I've been waiting all this time to see a video of you getting her running.

As soon as I can put some good focus on her and make some meaningful progress beyond little things here and there. There's been a lot going on irl that has kneecapped me every time I've tried to start making forward progress in anything. Rent hike, my work souring on me, reduced hours, and then just within the last week, my bank had a massive error and overdrafted my account, leaving me in a panic before rent, with no honest way to pay. I'm glad it got sorted out, but I just keep getting kicked down, and kicked down, and kicked down, but I've kept going and I just have to keep faith that eventually I'll manage to start making progress on things in a meaningful way!

Oh no, her engine still turns over and runs on its own! Cassandra is in rough shape, but she's a fighter! She's tough!

Very much so! I think that's about the closest to the edge of oblivion I've come, and I'd like not to test my luck further in the future! It's wild just how much one little computer error can upend everything! It's also disconcerting how close to the edge a lot of people have to live with just how messed up the job market, prices, and the economy are now adays!

Agreed! I need to find better work, just to try to get to that area of stability where I can be putting money away and trying to build up my reserves! I can hope my art commissions take off, my books, or anything else, and I know I can be doing more there to advertise myself, but on top of that, I need something more solid for my general work until such a time that (hopefully) my projects can sustain me!
