Job Seekers Be CAUTIOUS
okay, so as some of you peeps may know, first off, yes, I'm on the job hunt.... this economy sucks, but i'll leave that to the man to talk about, that's really not my place, want or desire... nuff said.
So yesterday, I sent out roughly 25 resumes to all sorts of various companies that appeared to be legit. From a WIDE assortment of job finding sites, both nation wide and local, Weeeeell, today while I'm looking at one of my job finder sites I see a HUGE WARNING of how they've recently discovered scamed posts of job offers. And not to mention seeing that i'm obsessive on reading though things with damn near a fine tooth comb, I see several of the new postings for today talking about other postings that were actual scams or bitching about the job where as it says that they'll train, they actually wont... and so on and so forth.
Well, after having spoken with one of my very close local peeps, combo'ed with checking my email before me and the man went out on a mini date how bad this really is. Come to find out that in my searchings and scannings (not sure via WHICH site yet, but i'll find out ~fist shakes~) that one of the job posts that seemed honest and real, honestly wasn't real at all.
Yep... Good ole Scammers.... honestly, what is this world coming to where they'll target those who have next to nothing and are on the job hunt? After doing a good ole faithful google search since I wasn't familiar with the company name, from the 15, 16 and 17th of this month were tons of citations of this exact company and exact woman and this scam. Claiming that there is a job opening, and that interviews are going on after the holidays, and how she wants you to call to set up an appointment time, but first wants you to reference their "free credit report" site..... and though I didn't check the site, i'm fairly certain that they wanted PPI and CC information... go fig.
Honestly, what has this world come to?
if I ever find these people, guess what, I won't need a job b/c i'll run them through a meat grinder and make meat pies.... mmmmmm tasty, moist, juicy meat pies... wanna slice?

I think instead of arresting scammers and giving them a slap on the wrists they need to let them loose with the people they scammed in a windowless room with baseball bats. People would rethink scamming if they knew they'd have the shit beaten out of them if they got caught.
