I apologize for growing distant. I have worked through that fear, when the timing from booster is right atleast. Maybe we can find a time to hang out soon (definitely not on Yom kippur though, but that's only 25 hours starting in like 4)

I've been trying to start actually celebrating Jewish holidays more. Growing up, I only really celebrated Hanukah. I don't know if I'll do anything for Yom Kippur this year, though. I'm visiting a friend tomorrow and it didn't occur to me it'd be today. So I probably won't fast.

But I'm trying to get into the habit of the other holidays more, at least. Maybe next year?

Even doing just a little is good. No need to wait for next year.
