hi everyone, just wanted to come make a journal with two main items on the agenda-- an apology and explanation for my absence, and a thanks for the attention my art has gotten.

i started this account something like two months ago now, a stretch of time which feels somehow both far too long and far too short to believe. i won't go into particularly personal details of my life here, but in short, my living situation is a little weird and precarious, and being rather mentally ill, it usually means that a lot of the time, i retreat from the spaces i inhabit online in order to focus on self-maintenance. i apologize for the lack of updates in the last month, but i hope to sort of get back into the swing of things now that a particularly large event in my life, for which i've had to wait and prepare for years, is over. thank you for being patient.

on that note, thank you all very much for your favourites, comments, and watches. it means so much to me that this little corner of the internet i've carved out for myself has been enough to reach at least a few folks out there who appreciate my work. i hope to meet and surpass all of your expectations going forward. i also hope to finally begin streaming art, which will include taking requests and rambling about whatever's caught my attention lately and making conversation with viewers. if that's your thing, be sure to keep an eye out for any announcements i make regarding this in the future. additionally, for trade requests, commission inquiries, or any sort of suggestions, please always feel free to reach out via private message, leaving a shout on my profile, or by contacting me on my discord, which shares its username with this account.
