As someone with chronic wrist and hand problems, absolutely give yourself the recovery time..
People take for granted just how important the hands are for interacting with pretty much everything in our lives.

Thank you for saying that. It's hard to sit back when drawing was both my hobby and my job. I try to get treated, but it's scary to lose the opportunity to draw... Although I think my problem can be solved one way or another!
And yes, doing everything with my left hand turned out to be more difficult than I initially imagined!

I'm a mechanic, constant vibration and strain has caused a lot of problems but I can't afford to go to a doctor to find out what's actually going on. But there will be times when one or both of my hands will have next to no dexterity and my wrist and fingers have trouble bending which can last for a week or more when it flares up. Not something you ever think about until it happens I guess.

That's right. I've always worried about my work hand, because all I'm good at is drawing and cooking...To lose it is like losing a part of yourself and your individuality. I endured the pain for a while, but in recent days it has become unbearable, which forced me to see a doctor. I hope you won't delay this! I know that many people without hands learn to live without them and it deserves respect, but it's better for us not to allow such an outcome, right?
