"I'm a Man!" ad, (Not a political journal.)
Greetings Everyone,
Just saw this and laughed. Thought I'd share it.
The Ad is this apparently... https://youtu.be/Hk4ueY9wVtA?si=6S2qYnZ-GK87VV2Y
Now there's a lot of people laughing at and mocking this already, so I'll avoid that angle. Instead, I'm going to bring up this...
https://www.aol.com/pro-kamala-harr.....174018348.html
First off, I didn't know AOL still existed, xD
That said... part of the story reads, "The clip features a slew of apparent farmers, car enthusiasts and gym junkies boasting about their masculinity as they repeatedly insist, “I’m a man” and “I’m man enough.”
The script then takes a hard feminist turn as the presumed actors — most of whom were filmed doing outdoor activities or perched on trucks — start rattling off ways they aren’t afraid to support women."
I had to do a double take. "Wait, NOW is when the script takes a hard feminist turn!?" Sorry to say, but the entire video up to that point was clearly what a Modern day 'Feminist' thinks Men think are Real Men. xD
Anyways, hope you have a good day! I've been so damn busy lately I haven't been able to post anything since I came back! xD Sorry!

what an odd ad .3.
[For reference]
I didn't know it kept going!
Holy fuck, this is even more cringe than Hillary's "Pokemon GO to the polls!" thing.
Do the Democrats not know what "optics" are?
They have all that money and all those lobby groups and massive support by the likes of Google and Microsoft and HOLLYWOOD and the rest of the big-business establishment, and not a single freaking person said "Ahhh... This is kinda cringe guys, maybe we should rework it a bit?"
My god, this just shows how truly out of touch they are... Like they've never been around real people, let alone men, and get all their information from biased "terminally online" social media users.
I remember some time ago there was an ad telling women to "vote with their lady parts"
Maybe people should go back to thinking with their brains instead of their genitals.
( ᐢ (oo) ᐢ )
They vote accordingly.
That should, no, MUST be addressed, and dealt with, else the over-breeding Village Idiots will continue to cause damage and threat to any Country/Nation and Society they infest.
(Bit cruel word usage? I refuse to apologize.)
It's in the 'Top 3' of 'Their' totally warped, maligned, twisted and so obviously 'Staged/Fake' attempts to lure whatever's left of America's Fools to their cause/side.
I'd laugh and mock it, accept I have no doubt it achieved their goal, and that sad, sad fact goes so far in explaining exactly why and how our nation and society has collapsed to the degree it's suffering atm.
Meanwhile, I watched 'Deadpool and Wolverine,' and had the time of my life!
Real Men.
Faux Men.
Know the difference.
;-P
Politics are pretty much the same. All the options suck, but people have to vote for someone. That's why for the last few decades all politicians have some short slogan or catchphrase. The platform is irrelevant, it's all about being the one with the catchiest one-liner. Maybe they make horribly cringe ads on purpose because they become viral memes. ( ᐢ (oo) ᐢ )
I see this now, decades later, in what's referred to as 'Global Economies.' Who owns said Corporations? It's not very hard to find out, and it's staggering.
Same with politicians. I view Democrats and Republican as one wing of the same 'Bird'- Congress.
What has been the collective opinion of how Congress has been doing, over the past seventy-plus years?
The more you know, eh?
(The more I need alcohol to remedy the side effects of said knowledge!)
Nice to see another common sense loving more or less balanced person on this site, respect.
I'd agree for more than 50% but less than 100. Openness is not inherently a good thing (most things in this world are not inherently good or bad). Openness can also mean no standards or no real identity. Would you accept in your Football Fan Club people who don't even play or like football? Would you let in real football fans, but who also rob people at night? For better or for worse, no club can be open for everyone (that just means the club owner has no standards).
Perhaps all of this is inevitable. As the idea of a "furry can club" becomes bigger and more accepted by the wider society, it will then become a bigger part of that society........... and if that society divides for any reason, so will the furry fan club. It's not really tragic though, since the majority of "furries" are actually level headed and emotionally stable people, you just don't hear about them, because most furries are actually shy and afraid to call themselves by the F word. Things are actually quite alright.
