I’m writing to inform clients that upon next commission opening, I plan to charge an additional 50% of the total cost to any private commissions. This isn’t to dissuade any potential clients interested in private commissions (I am still happy to work with you!)- rather I need to balance my finances, workflow, what I can post/use as new examples, and my pain management. Private commissions can sometimes slow me down on multiple of those angles. I respect clients who want to keep commissioned work for themselves, I’m just trying to find a balance that works for both parties ^^
