HxH: Heaven x Hell status
Put on hold!
Due to recent developments in my life, HxH: Heaven x Hell will have to be put on hold until further notice. A new project will take its place in the future.
Your typical isekai story follows an ordinary human being who gets whisked away to another world, usually one set in medieval fantasy, where they are then tasked by a higher power (who may or may not be the one who called the human towards their world in the first place) with building their strength and honing their craft in order to eliminate the threat who's terrorizing the world with their pure might and legions of monsters on their side.
This... is NOT that story.
Cletus is a gym trainer who also doubles as a closeted otaku, who one night gets whisked away to a seemingly typical medieval fantasy world while sleeping. However instead of a god summoning him, it was a seemingly ordinary Dungeon Core; a type of NPC designed by one Creator God to build monsters and have them serve as a type of antagonistic force for the heroes. He called forth Cletus to his world because his last Dungeon Architect suddenly rebelled against him by joining the current Final Boss' army, who happens to go by Lilith, and took all of the core's monstrous creations with them, so he needed a quick replacement and hastily chose the human while skimming through different dimensions.
He promised to take the human back to his home world once every one of his monsters have returned to his mega-dungeon, even granting Cletus the elusive Summoner class, plus Conjurer as the subclass, to help him do so. Despite the otaku's clear confusion over the entire thing, his neurons activated once he learned that the core's monsters had been corrupted by the Final Boss; gaining newfound power at the cost of lust-induced ferocity. It was apparently all the motivation he needed since he always wanted to fuck a monster stud, and luckily for the Conjurer, sexually satisfying a monster is made a viable alternative for adding them to his summoning list thanks to one Boon!
After being suited with starter gear by the core and a magic item that allows the Conjurer to teleport to any area in the core's mega-dungeon, including the entrance, Cletus set off to "wrangle in" the monsters he was assigned to bring back, and perhaps even learn more about the world he was brought to. However, not everything about the human's quest is as it seems...
So yeah, I have a full-on NSFW story project coming in the future. I don't know when exactly, but I do know that it'll be a lewd litRPG parody as you can see here.
And in case anyone's wondering why I mentioned Final Boss in the plot synopsis, I decided that there would be six Ranks in the monster hierarchy: Mook < Elite < Mini-Boss < Boss (which includes standard and optional) < Final Boss < Superboss.
There can only be one Final Boss at a time, but they're usually what the "World Narrative" revolves around and are made appropriately powerful in response. Those who manage to defeat a Final Boss gain access to the sought-after Scion class, which is basically an umbrella class for endgame prestige subclasses that each embody their entire archetype.
Meanwhile Superbosses, while usually not the focus of any World Narrative, become so unique and powerful that they leave a huge mark in the world's history and thus earn the extremely rare, NPC-exclusive Reincarnation ability, allowing them to be resurrected post-defeat after a period of time passes.
I'm also thinking that Bosses would typically range from C-A, Final Bosses are usually A but can be S if their overall power is high enough, and Superbosses are always S.
